Password Generator

You are here:

Stop using "Password123". Start being secure.

The single biggest vulnerability in most organizations isn’t a firewall breach or a zero-day exploit—it’s weak passwords. Humans are naturally bad at randomness. We gravitate toward patterns, birthdays, and pet names that hackers can guess in seconds.

To keep your data safe, you need entropy (randomness). This tool generates cryptographically strong passwords locally on your device, ensuring that not even we can see what you generate.

How to use this tool:

  1. Set the Length: We recommend at least 16 characters for general accounts and 20+ characters for sensitive infrastructure (like Wi-Fi, banking, or admin panels).

  2. Regenerate: Click the button until you see a string of characters you like.

  3. Copy & Save: Copy the password and immediately save it into a secure Password Manager (like Bitwarden, 1Password, or iCloud Keychain).

Is this safe?

Yes. Here is why:

  • Client-Side Only: This tool runs 100% inside your web browser. The password is generated by your computer’s processor, not our server.

  • Zero Transmission: The password you generate is never sent over the internet. It never touches our database, logs, or analytics.

  • Zero Retention: Once you close this tab or refresh the page, that password is gone forever. We cannot recover it because we never had it.

3 Rules for Better Password Hygiene

  1. Length beats Complexity A 20-character password made of random letters is often harder to crack than an 8-character password with complex symbols. Use the + button above to max out the length whenever the service allows it.
  2. Never Reuse Passwords If you use the same password for LinkedIn and your Email, and LinkedIn gets hacked, your Email is now compromised. Use this generator to create a unique key for every single service.
  3. Use a Password Manager You aren’t meant to remember Xy7#m9$Lp2@vR5. That is what computers are for. Use a password manager to remember these complex strings so you don’t have to.
